The multinational exercise of Special Forces – Special Operations Forces TROJAN FOOTPRINT (TFP) – 24 was completed on Friday, March 15, 2024. The said exercise kicked off on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Greece.

According to a relevant announcement, TFP – 24 took place within the framework of the NATO Exercise STEADFAST DEFENDER – 24, with the participation of personnel and means of the Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS). Further, the exercise was held under the Command of the US Special Operations Command Europe (US SOCEUR) with the Special Operations Coordination Center (SOCC) stationed in Stuttgart, Germany.

Military personnel from Albania, Bulgaria, France, Skopje, the United Kingdom, the USA, Italy, and Montenegro also participated in the exercise. At the same time, personnel and means of the Special Warfare Command of the HNDGS were trained in the Krivolak region of Skopje in the framework of TFP – 24.

During the exercise, the participants had the opportunity to implement the design and conduct of complex operational scenarios, which contributed to the increase of combat capability and the improvement of interoperability at the level of Special Forces – Special Operations Forces.
