US President Joe Biden has signed a bill providing Ukraine with billions of dollars in new aid for its war with Russia, marking a rare bipartisan victory for the President.

Military aid to Ukraine will be sent in the next few hours.

The law provides for $61 billion in aid to Ukraine, another $26 billion to Israel, $1 billion in humanitarian aid to Gaza, and $8 billion to offset China’s military power.

Regarding Israel, Biden said that its security is “of critical importance.” But at the same time, he called on the Israeli authorities to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinians in Gaza without delay.

At the same time, yesterday the second tranche of 1.5 billion euros was disbursed by the EU in the context of emergency financing to facilitate Ukraine.
