The main objective of the joint venture is the strengthening of the scientific cooperation of the Hellenic Universities and Research Centers with the defence industry for the benefit of the National Defence, the Hellenic Armed Forces, the National Economy and the Scientific Community.
SEKPY and the other founding members, recognizing the potential benefits of the promotion of research, innovation and interdisciplinarity, cooperate so as to produce new dual-use products and technologies for the self-sufficiency and technological superiority of both the country and the EU.
This partnership will utilize the research and development mechanisms of Universities, Research Centers and companies of the domestic defence industry aiming at developing domestic and European defence technology with initiatives such as the European Defence Fund.
