HNDGS | Bilateral joint training between Greece and Poland – Photos

The bilateral joint training between the Armed Forces of Greece and Poland, in the wider area of ​​Attica, was completed on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

According to the relevant announcement of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the activity which started on Monday April 15, 2024 aimed in the development and further strengthening of the military cooperation of the Special Operations Forces (SOFs) of the two countries. The exercise focused on the design and execution of various drills which contributed to the promotion of the level of operational readiness and combat capability of the participants. More specifically the exercise included:

  • Close Quarter Battle (CQB) firings
  • High depth diving 
  • High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) parachute jumps
  • Landing Deployment Procedures
  • Direct Action (DA) maneuvers
