The Bilateral Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) between the Armed Forces of Greece and the US was completed on Friday, April 12, 2024. The said training kicked off on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in the wider area of ​​Attikovoiotia.

According to a relevant announcement from the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the exercise aimed at the development and further strengthening of the military cooperation of the Special Operations Forces (SOFs) of the two countries, the exchange of know-how and the attainment of a satisfactory level of synergy and interoperability.

Personnel and members of the Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic Army and the US SOCEUR participated in the exercise from the Greek and US sides respectively.

During the exercise, the following operational items were executed:

  • Firing;
  • Procedures and conduct of explosions – demolitions;
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC);
  • High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) – High Altitude High Opening (HAHO).
