In the context of the military cooperation between Greece and the United Kingdom, a bilateral joint exercise between the Armed Forces of the two countries took place in the wider area of ​​Nea Peramos, Attica from Tuesday, March 26 to Friday, April 05, 2024.

According to an announcement by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the joint exercise focused on the design and conduct of Close Quarter Battle (CQB) and Special Operations objects.

During the exercise, the participants had the opportunity to train in complex operational scenarios, which contributed to increasing combat capability and enhancing interoperability.

Personnel from the Special Warfare Command of the HNDGS and the 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines participated in the said exercise on the part of Greece and the UK respectively.
