In deep sorrow, the Ministry of Defence has announced the passing of the Contracted NCO, Chief Master Sergeant Vasilios Bratos.
The deceased was seriously injured while carrying out maintenance work in a vehicle of his Unit at the “Andreas Papandreou” Air Base on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital.
The Ministry of Defence and the National Guard express their sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
The Contracted NCO’s funeral will be held at public expense with the respective military honors.
The DEFENCE ReDEFiNED team extends its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
