From Tuesday 07 to Wednesday 08 December 2021 the International Conference on Crisis Management “ATHENA” will be held in Athens in the amphitheater of the Air Force Academy at the Dekeleia Air Base.
The “ATHENA” Conference is an international forum for constructive discussions and exchange of views on issues related to Crisis Management in order to analyse contemporary challenges and threats against international security. The Conference focuses on the wider geopolitical environment of the Eastern Mediterranean and the presentation of holistic approach strategies to counter them. Furthermore, it examines the potential for a closer cooperation by the international community, with the objective to prevent conflict and effectively manage crises.
The Conference has already become one of the most important institutions attended by high-ranking political and military personnel, State representatives, International Organisations such as NATO, UN, EU, Institutes of International Relations and Strategic Studies as well as interested parties from pertinent bodies (Ministries, General Staffs, Organisations, Universities, Institutes, etc.).
