Cooperation upgrade and joint training among Cyprus, Greece and the USA in Souda

It is announced that on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, the joint training among the Special Operation Forces of Greece, the USA and Cyprus has begun. The participating forces will be trained in Naval Special Operations, in the wider sea area of ​​Souda in Crete.

The purpose of this joint training is to upgrade the level of cooperation, understanding and interoperability among the participating forces, to increase their operational capabilities and the exchange of experiences of the Hellenic Special Operation Forces’ with friends and allied countries.

The exercise was organised by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) and is coordinated by the Special  Operations Joint Command.
