On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in the framework of the International Defence and Security Exhibition DEFEA 2021, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA), General Konstantinos Floros, held a bilateral meeting with the Chief of the National Guard General Staff (GEEF), Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis.
During their meeting, which was held in an excellent atmosphere, the Head of GEETHA, after thanking his counterpart for his presence in DEFEA 2021, had the opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on current regional and international developments as well as their impact on security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The two Leaders also had the opportunity to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and renewed their appointment for next week in Cyprus, where the events commemorating the Turkish invasion of July 20, 1974 will take place.
