From Monday 15 to Friday 26 April 2024, the bilateral exercise “STOLEN CERBERUS XI” took place under the coordination of the Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS). The exercise was also held in the context of the Military Cooperation between Greece and the USA.

The Greek side participated in the exercise with personnel from the Special Warfare Command of the HNDGS and the Navy’s Underwater Demolition Command, personnel from the Paratroopers School of the Hellenic Army General Staff as well as transport aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force. From the US side, the exercise was held with the participation of personnel from the 37th Airlift Squadron with three C-130J aircraft.

According to a relevant announcement, the exercise took place in the wider area of ​​Attica. During the exercise air cooperation, supply drops on land and at sea, evacuation of the injured (Medical Evacuation – MEDEVAC) as well as free falls and static line jumps were performed, which contributed to the increase of the level of combat capability and interoperability between the participating Greek and US Armed Forces.
