The US and British Armed Forces have launched new airstrikes in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, the Houthi rebel-aligned Al Masirah TV network reported.
An air base on the outskirts of the capital Sanaa was reportedly targeted, while explosions were also reported in the city of Hodeidah.
A US Navy destroyer fired Tomahawk missiles at a rebel radar site of Houthi in Yemen, announced the headquarters of the US Central Command or CENTCOM responsible for the Middle East region.
At 3:45 a.m. (Sana’a time) on Jan 13., U.S. forces conducted a strike against a Houthi radar site in Yemen. The announcement highlights that as of November 19, 2023, Iran-backed Houthi rebels have attempted 28 times to attack and harass ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. These illegal actions included attacks using anti-ship ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles.
