The US and British Armed Forces have launched new airstrikes in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, the Houthi rebel-aligned Al Masirah TV network reported.

An air base on the outskirts of the capital Sanaa was reportedly targeted, while explosions were also reported in the city of Hodeidah.

A US Navy destroyer fired Tomahawk missiles at a rebel radar site of Houthi in Yemen, announced the headquarters of the US Central Command or CENTCOM responsible for the Middle East region.

The announcement highlights that as of November 19, 2023, Iran-backed Houthi rebels have attempted 28 times to attack and harass ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. These illegal actions included attacks using anti-ship ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles.
