The Hellenic Military Academy participated with a delegation of 3 cadets in the 15th consecutive XV Commando Half Marathon competition held in Poland and organized by the Military University of Technology of Poland.
A total of 718 men and 90 women from the Military Academies of the Armed and the Security Forces of Greece, Latvia, Norway, Ukraine, Poland, and Romania participated in the military half-marathon race.
The route was 21.1 kilometers on rough terrain on February 17, in a forested area on the outskirts of the university. The participants took part in their expedition uniform, military boots, and a 10 kg rucksack.
In the “International Teams” category, the three-member, fourth-year delegation of the Hellenic Military Academy ranked first, followed by the Norwegian and the Romanian teams.
