The National Guard mourns on the last day of 2020 for the death of a 36-year-old Officer (whose name we do not reveal out of respect for his family). The unfortunate Officer was involved in a car accident with his motorcycle today at noon on Makariou Avenue in Aradippou.
According to initial information, the accident took place around 13:30 under conditions that are being investigated. However, unconfirmed information indicates that a vehicle had blocked the course of the motorcycle driven by the 36-year-old, resulting in his fatal injury. The 36-year-old Officer, who served in a camp in Larnaca province, leaves behind his wife and minor child.
The DEFENCE ReDEFiNED team expresses its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. An announcement is expected from the Cyprus Police.
