The Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (E.EN.E.) organised a dedicated event on Artificial Intelligence titled: “Investments in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Greece…

SEKPY, the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association, is organizing an event entitled “SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HELLENIC DEFENCE INDUSTRY: Empowering Security: Unveiling the Future of Defence with Greek Innovation”.
The said event will take place this coming Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Brussels at the event hall of the RESIDENCE PALACE at 14:00-20:00.
According to the relevant announcement, the purpose of the event will be to promote the Greek defence industry within European borders alongside networking opportunities as well as to showcase cutting-edge defence innovations.
Aspiring to bring the Greek defence ecosystem to the forefront, SEKPY will give the opportunity to at least 16 Greek companies to take the floor, while the participants will consist of senior officials from the Permanent Delegations in Brussels, the European Commission, NATO, ASD, other industrial associations, major companies and experts in defence technology and policy.
Among others, the event will be attended by Mr. Fabio Liberti on behalf of DG DEFIS, Mr. Vasilios Tsiamis from Ernst & Young, Mr. Julien Hostin as the representative of the shipbuilding giant Naval Group, the newly-established Cluster of Defence Industry, Higher Education and Research “DefencEduNet”, which will be represented by Mr. Stamatios Angelopoulos, Rector of the International Hellenic University and Mr. Alexandros Chatzigeorgiou, Vice-Rector of Extroversion and International Relations of the University of Macedonia.
The event will include, inter alia, interesting speeches and discussions on topics such as the European Defence Fund, the new European Defence Industry Strategy, research and innovation.
