Minister of Defence visits National Guard’s posts on New Year’s Day | Photos

The Minister of Defence, Mr. Charalambos Petridis, and the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis, visited soldiers in National Guard’s posts in the Astromeritis area yesterday to wish them a happy new year.
The political and military leadership was close to our conscripts who remained on duty during these festive days.
Speaking to hoplites and permanent personnel, Mr. Petridis expressed the hope that 2021 will be a year when we will create the conditions for the freedom and reunification of our country.
The Minister will continue his visits in remote areas of the island the following days.
