Limassol | Members of the Fire Service tested positive for COVID-19

Two members of the Cyprus Fire Service, in two different stations, have been tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the Fire Brigade Spokesman, Andreas Kettis, who talked in the show “Mera Mesimeri”, the Service has already taken the appropriate actions provided by the Ministry of Health.

One case works at the Agios Nikolaos Fire Station and the other at the city’s Central Fire Station.

According to Mr. Kettis, the Fire Brigade proceeded to disinfect all areas at both Stations.

Restrictions were also placed on people working in the same shift as these members of the Service, while the tracking process has begun.
