Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be in Saudi Arabia today Monday 25/10 and tomorrow Tuesday 26/10. The agenda of the Greek Prime Minister contains defence, geopolitical, economic and energy issues.
On Monday, K. Mitsotakis will speak at the “Middle East Green Summit” forum on issues of energy and reduction of fossil fuel pollutants, while tomorrow, Tuesday, he will have a meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Bin Salman.
The Prime Minister is also expected to meet with Saudi businessmen and attend the Future Investment Initiative Forum, which brings together the Gulf’s top investors. In the defence sector, after the recent transition of the Hellenic Force of Saudi Arabia with a Patriot missiles squadron, the relations between the two countries are at a very good level, while these relations are expected to further deepen.
At the same time, today, Monday, the Minister of Interior Nikos Dendias is travelling to London so as to sign, among others, a bilateral agreement on defence.
