From Monday 10 to Friday 21 July 2023, a joint exercise of the Hellenic Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Skopje was held. The said exercise took place in accordance with the international cooperation planning of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff  (HNDGS).

From the Greek side, the exercise was held with the participation of Special Operations Teams of the 7th Amphibious Marine Squadron of the newly-established Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic Army and respective vessels, while Skopje participated with 12 members of the Special Operations Forces.

According to a relevant announcement, the joint exercise took place at the facilities of the Special Forces Training Center at the “MAJOR GENERAL ANDREAS KALLINSKI” military Camp and in the wider sea area of ​​Nea Peramos of Attica. During the exercise amphibious operations, combat swim, and diving were carried out.

The participation of the Hellenic Armed Forces in this joint exercise is part of the implementation of the Military Cooperation Program for 2023 between Greece and Skopje and is intended in strengthening the combat capability and operational readiness of the participants.
