HNDGS | Hellenic Armed Forces participate in exercise “NOBLE DINA 2023”

From Wednesday 15 to Thursday 30 March 2023, the multilateral aeronautical exercise “NOBLE DINA 2023” (ND-23) will be held between the Armed Forces of Greece, Israel, Cyprus, and the USA. The exercise will be conducted in the wider Eastern Mediterranean sea area with the participation of forces from France and Italy as well as personnel from Germany.

“NOBLE DINA 2023” is a LIVEX (Live Exercise) type exercise carried out on an annual basis. It is part of the wider planning of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) in terms of the international collaborations of the Hellenic Armed Forces, which permanently support and highlight the stabilizing role of Greece in the surrounding area.

According to a relevant announcement of the HNDGS, the purpose of the exercise is to train the participating forces in complex operational scenarios and in a multi-threat environment with an emphasis on Anti-Submarine Warfare, Surface Warfare, and Search and Rescue operations, aiming to increase interoperability and enhance their deterrence capacity.

In the exercise, Greece participates with 1 Frigate, 1 Fast Attack Craft, 1 Submarine, 2 F-16 Fighter Aircraft, and 1 Naval Operations Aircraft.
