A great distinction for the Hellenic Military Academy was given from the specialized website on educational issues startskool.com, as the Academy is among the 25 best military schools in the world.
The Hellenic Military Academy ranks sixth, with the US Military Academy ranking first, followed by the Saint-Cyr academy, the National Defence Academy, the Royal Air Force Academy, and the Military Academy of South Africa.
Top ten includes the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the Military Academy of China, the Military Academy of Korea, and the Military Academy of Egypt, with the Hellenic Military Academy in sixth place.
Referring to the Academy, the publication states that its facilities are located in Vari, Attica, and that it is the oldest institution of higher education in Greece.
As the article underlines, the Academy aims to mold, cultivate, and train cadets into outstanding soldiers and leaders both through theoretical and practical training.
The Hellenic Military Academy offers academic education and military training, the publication adds, noting that academic education includes courses in chemistry, mathematics, physics, and foreign languages, while cadets’ military training includes tactics, weapons handling, and intensive gymnastics.
The Academy also offers summer programs and international seminars on different topics, the publication concludes.
