Greece | Military Cooperation Program signed with the United Arab Emirates

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the “Greece – UAE Military Cooperation Program” 2024 was signed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the Director of the International Relations Directorate of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), Brigadier Vasilios Tsamis, and the Director of the Directorate of International Affairs, Brigadier Staff Jamal Al Marzooqi, of the UAE Armed Forces.

The said Military Cooperation Program includes, among other things, the participation in joint exercises as well as in those of the individual Branches of the Armed Forces, joint exercises of Special Forces – Special Operations Forces, joint training in Crisis Management – Managing Electronic Warfare Disasters and Mine Neutralization – Improvised Explosive Devices, participation in exercises of the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center and the conduct of joint exercises using simulators at the Battle Tank Simulator Center in Alexandroupolis. Further, the Program includes the exchange of personnel and visits to schools and multinational schools and personnel meetings and talks on matters of mutual interest.
