After an investigation, the British Police prosecuted a member of the Army for terrorist-related activities on Friday (27/1).

According to a statement from London’s Metropolitan Police, 21-year-old Daniel Abed Khalif is accused of trying to obtain information that could be used to commit or prepare a terrorist act in August 2021.

He is also charged with placing an object so as to make one believe that said object was likely to explode, the police said in their statement regarding an incident that took place on January 2, 2023.

The two acts for which he is being prosecuted were committed in Beaconside, Stafford, central England. This serving member of the British Army is being detained and is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London today.
