On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, as part of the training activities for “Skills and Interoperability 2023 – 2024”, the 1st Infantry Mechanized Brigade in cooperation with the Air Force Command of the National Guard carried out the “DAIDALOS 2023” joint exercise, focusing on the organization of a Drop Zone – Supply Transfer in its area of responsibility.
According to an announcement by the National Guard General Staff (GEEF), the purpose of the exercise was to familiarize the personnel of the Brigade with the procedures of organizing a Drop Zone for the execution of throwing supplies by helicopter, as well as with the reception, receipt, and forwarding procedures of materials-supplies to the supported Units.
The results of the exercise demonstrated the high level of readiness and operational training of the participating personnel as well as their high morale and professionalism.
