The Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) of the European Commission announced the results of the 2022 call of the European Defence Fund (EDF). 

EIGHT BELLS LTD participates in three collaborative projects beyond the four projects (EDIDP2020 & EDF2021) in which it already participates. These new collaborations mark a significant milestone for the company and demonstrate its commitment to be active in the Defence Sector.

The three collaborative projects it is participating in, which have been selected by the European Commission are:

1. EUCINF (EUropean Cyber and INFormation warfare toolbox) under the coordination of Airbus Defence and Space, of an estimated total cost of 41,188,744.34 euros aiming at studying, designing, prototyping, testing, and demonstrating cutting-edge capabilities in the domain of Cyber and Information Warfare through a toolbox;
2. PROTEAS under the coordination of Intracom Defense, of an estimated total cost of 23,422,628.94 euros aiming at providing a prototyped deployable special operations forces multi-environment command post, and C2 System (SOFCPC2) consisting of the shelter, power system, communications infrastructure, Command and Control, portable devices for field-deployed task groups, manned and unmanned assets and perimeter security system;
3. NEWSROOM under the coordination of AIT (Austrian Institute of Technology) worth some 9,985,956.50 euros aiming at overcoming the current limitations of cyber situational awareness (CSA) by studying all relevant CSA aspects and designing an integrated CSA platform combining data insights. 

EIGHT BELLS LTD was founded in 2016 and retains offices in Nicosia (Headquarters) and Athens. It is an independent research and services company specializing in information and communication technology, but also in simulations and analysis. 

It has developed a variety of systems and applications, some of which stand out for their contribution to the field of security and defence.
