More specifically:
1. Gold Award for the “Best HR Corporate Event” which was based on an innovative project of the Group, “marrying” science with art: the establishment of a musical orchestra, EFA BAND, consisting exclusively of Group executives.
The EFA BAND, consisting of fifteen employees – musicians and choristers, rehearses in a fully equipped music studio, under the guidance of a professional conductor.
It has already performed 2 concerts as part of a corporate event for the employees of the Group, with the 2nd concert “EFA BAND LIVE CONCERT”, organized for all employees of the Group, in the open theater in the “Metropolitan Park of Tritsi” on June 9, 2023, to receive the Gold award in the category in question.
2. Silver Award for “Best Use of AI in HR” which was based on the creation, through artificial intelligence, of a series of video-presentations hosted by a digital Avatar “James”.
This digital tool, created in the context of digital transformation of the EFA GROUP, is used on the Group’s digital internal platform – intranet, as a “welcome” and first acquaintance of new colleagues with the Group’s companies and tools.
3. Silver Award for “Best Youth Employment – Early Careers Initiatives / Strategy” which was based on the creation of two intensive bootcamps for 16 young scientists, who were hired in one of the companies of the Group for the development of their knowledge in writing code and testing, at a theoretical and practical level, in the field of software engineering.
Alongside the intensive training and in real working conditions, the new colleagues were also trained in soft skills.
4. Bronze Award for “Best Use of Technology for Talent Acquisition” for the use and configuration of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platform, which brought remarkable improvements to the recruitment cycle of EFA GROUP companies, not only in terms of time saving, but also in terms of their quality, allowing HR to focus on more strategic aspects of talent acquisition.
Giorgos Terzakis, Head HR of EFA GROUP, noted that all 4 awards of the EFA GROUP in HR AWARDS 2023 is a great honor, because it concerns the multitude of innovative actions to attract new talents, but also the development of their people in the companies of the Group.
Furthermore, he added that their strength lies in their people and, for this reason, with ongoing upskilling and reskilling being their strategic vision, they invest more than €120,000 every year in the field of training, creating a “holistic” retraining program that covers not only digital skills, but also broader topics related to foreign languages, history, art, culture.
