The Fire Service has announced that applications are currently being accepted for the positions of Firefighters.
According to the relevant announcement, candidates can apply only on www.gov.cy following the “Public Safety and Defence” link.
To proceed with the online application, the applicant must have created a Citizen profile (Natural Person) at CY Login, which should be verified. Profile verification is done as follows:
- via e-Banking;
- for holders of a Cypriot ID, through a video call with Citizen Service Center officials (an appointment is required);
- by visiting an Identification Center by appointment.

Candidates who have already created a verified profile should not create a new one. In case applicants do not remember their credentials, the “I forgot my Username” and “I forgot my Password” links should be followed.
While filling out the application, candidates should also scan all relevant certificates for submission. Late applications will be automatically rejected by the system.
Applications may be submitted from 09:00 on Tuesday (28/02/2023) until 14:00 on Monday (20/03/2023). Application fees are €45 and can be paid through the JCC payment system.
