On Thursday, December 30, 2021, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), General Konstantinos Floros, met in his office with the new Ambassador of Qatar to Greece, Mr. Waleed Bin Mohammed Al-Emadi, who was accompanied by the Counselor of the Embassy, Mr. Hamed Youssef Al-Marwani, and his Assistant, Mr. Nadine Kougioumtzi.
The Ambassador of Qatar invited the Chief of Defence to attend the “Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference – DIMDEX 2022”, which will take place on March 21-23, 2022 in Doha.
Issues of common interest, as well as international developments in the wider region, were also discussed.
