45 million euro supplementary budget for Defence Shield

At its meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet approved the 2nd Supplementary Budget for 2021, which provides for expenditures amounting to € 148,524,438.
An announcement by the Ministry of Finance states that these expenses are intended to cover various needs of the state, including the “Defence Shield” which amounts to 45 million Euros.
The Supplementary Budget will be submitted to the House of Representatives so as to be voted urgently.
We remind you that the National Guard’s multi-year armament program is underway, which provides, among other things, the purchase of modern weapon systems.
