A military factory on the outskirts of Kyiv, which mainly manufactures tanks and armored vehicles, was bombed yesterday, 16/04, in the morning, a journalist of the French Agency stated, while the Russian forces hit a military factory in Kyiv.
A large number of soldiers and police are at the scene of the attack, blocking access to the factory complex, where smoke is coming from. Kyiv Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, wrote on Facebook that he had no information about victims until that time.
The Russian Defence Ministry announced yesterday that Russian forces had destroyed the buildings of an armored vehicle factory in Kyiv and a military equipment repair facility in Mykolaiv. According to the same source, the blows were inflicted with high-precision long-range weapons.
Russia also shot down a Ukrainian SU-25 aircraft near the town of Izium in the Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine, Interfax reported, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.
