Libya has officially announced its first oil and gas licensing in 17 years, offering 22 areas for international auction.

The US ambassador to Turkey, Jeff Flake, via his post on Platform X, refers to the completion of the proceedings taking place in Congress so as to approve the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Turkey.

This is because the 15-day deadline for objections to the government’s official request to sell Turkey 40 new fighters and upgrade kits and equipment for 79 aircraft of Turkey’s existing F-16 fleet has elapsed unhindered.
