The General Secretariat of Research and Innovation of the Ministry of National Defence has proclaimed an international electronic competition for the pre-selection of candidates within the framework of Phase One of the International, Electronic, Closed Tender for the nomination of the Contractor of the “THORAX – Evolving Holistic Hybrid Operational Autonomous System” project (code 5180833). The said project has been included in the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
The project aims to improve operational processes in the fields of security, defence and crisis management through the integration of modern information systems to create an integrated “next generation” information system (Trellis Holistic & Hybrid Operational Ruggedized Autonomous eXemplary system) based on artificial intelligence & Machine-to-Machine Learning technologies.
The tender will be conducted in accordance with the closed tender procedure of article 28 of Law 4412/16 in two phases – stages:
- Stage 1: Pre-selection – Invitation for the submission of a participation application in accordance with the conditions set out in this invitation.
- Stage B: Assignment – Invitation of pre-selected candidates to submit applications for participation.
The total estimated value of the contract, including options, amounts to 69.053.500,00 Euros, plus VAT 16.572.840,00 Euros. The total value of the contract is 85.626.340,00 Euros.
