Terra Spatium SA | Participation in three collaborative projects of the European Defence Fund

The Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS) of the European Commission has announced the results of the 2022 European Defence Fund (EDF) calls for proposals.

The Greek company Terra Spatium SA participates in three collaborative projects practically proving its commitment to be active in the Defence Sector.

The three collaborative projects in which Terra Spatium SA participates and which have been selected by the European Commission are:

  1. FEDERATES (FEDerated Ecosystem of euRopean simulation Assets for Training and decision Support) coordinated by Rheinmetall, with an estimated total cost of 41,818,025.92 euros. The project aims at studying, planning, and prototyping military training and decision-making capabilities in all EU member states through simulation technologies.
  2. SPIDER (Space-based Persistent ISR for Defence and Europe Reinforcement) under the coordination of Airbus Defence and Space, with an estimated total cost of 23,422,628.94 euros. The project aims at studying, planning, and prototyping intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities in space for defence use.
  3. E-NACSOS (EU NAval Collaborative Surveillance Operational Standard) under the coordination of Naval Group, with an estimated cost of 101,388,327.64 euros. The project aims at studying, planning, and creating capabilities for naval collaborative surveillance between the fleets of the EU member states.
