Rear Admiral’s donation to the Hellenic Navy in honor P. Laskaridis – Completion of the “KYKNOS II” Program – Photos
On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, a test voyage of the “ELLI” Frigate took place in the Saronic Gulf as part of the successful completion of the “KYKNOS II” program. The latter includes the acquisition and replacement of four power generating pairs, a donation from the President of the “Ekaterini Laskaridis” Foundation, shipowner and Rear Admiral, in honor of Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis.
During the above voyage, the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Rear Admiral Stylianos Petrakis, the Fleet Commander, Rear Admiral Panagiotis Lymperis, as well as the donor, Mr. Panagiotis Laskaris, boarded the frigate “ELLI”.
The Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff thanked Mr. Laskaridis for his significant contribution to promoting the level of operational capability of the Navy.
