The first Conference on “Standards in Defence Procurement” was successfully completed at the facilities of the Ministry of Defence.
Upon the completion of the training workshop, organized by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus and the Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS), the participants were provided with certificates of attendance.
The training of personnel in matters pertaining to standardization and standards, which are necessary for the procurement of defence equipment and other related procedures, is an important component in the upgrading and modernization currently taking place in the National Guard.
Defense Standardization Advice (DSA) was actively involved in the workshop in collaboration with the Cyprus Organization for Standardization, aiming to get across high-standard know-how, training and certification to the participants.

In fact, the representative of the company, Mr. Nikolaos Myriounis, was honoured and awarded by the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Michalis Georgallas, for the planning and execution of the 1st Conference in support of the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus.
DSA is a private company which focuses on developing skills related to the management of Defence and Security Standardization objects and acts as a collaboration platform to connect international and national defence and security standardization bodies, industries, SMEs, academia and civil standards development organizations.
The company’s goal is to provide solutions to emerging defence standardization challenges and promote best practices in defence standardization worldwide.
