Impressive pictures were captured during the joint exercise of the Special Forces of Greece and the USA that took place in Megalo Pefko.
This is not the first time that a similar Special Forces exercise has taken place. And it will certainly not be the last, especially after the signing of the five-year Mutual Defence Cooperation Agreement (MDCA).

But this time the exercise had two very “interesting” scenarios.
The first was the operation to recapture a refinery occupied by enemy forces, while the second was the boarding of a ship whose crew had refused inspection.
The exercise was attended by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, and the US Ambassador to Athens, Jeffrey Payat.
