“Russia’s major military deployment is unjustified and deeply worrying,” NATO Secretary-General said in a joint statement with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba.

Jens Stoltenberg stressed that “Russia must end its military deployment,” expressing concern over developments.

He also called on Russia to “cease its provocations and immediately de-escalate tensions.”

“We do not recognize and will not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea,” he said, adding that NATO is on Ukraine’s side.
