According to information from the television channel Channel 12 News, Iran launched a missile towards an Israeli cargo ship in the Arabian Sea yesterday (25/3).
In addition, according to a report by the Israeli website Ynet, the Liberian-flagged ship, sailing from Tanzania to India, was not severely damaged and managed to continue its course.
Channel 12 News reported that the ship belongs to XT Management, which is based in the port of Haifa.

To date, no new information has been released on the attack, however, the Haaretz website links the incident with previous reference to a multitude of attacks by Israel at the expense of Iranian oil tankers.
In particular, the news report cited the Wall Street Journal’s references to at least 12 attacks on Iranian ships and a damage of billions to the country’s shipping industry.
Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Iran for an explosion on an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Oman. Iran denied involvement at the time. “We strongly reject this accusation,” said Savid Hatijazadeh, a spokesman for the Tehran Foreign Ministry.
