Information about the non-enlisted reservists – fine or imprisonment penalties

The Ministry of Defence announces that all non-enlisted reservists falling in the following categories should make all necessary arrangements at the Enlistment Offices before April 30, 2021:
– Classes 1989-2019 (born from 1971 to 2001).
– Those whose reasons for the temporary deferral of their reservist service are no longer valid.
– Those who do not have an Individual Invitation Card for year 2021.
– Those whose Official Transfer documentation is not up to date.
When they arrive at the Enlistment Offices, all reservists should have:
– Proof of identity (their identity card or passport or any other official document of the Republic).
– Their official transfer documentation.
– Proof of residence, in case this has changed (utility bill).
Reserves of all classes that have been permanently released are excluded from the invitation.
It is emphasized that the reservists who fail to comply with the provisions of paragraph (3) of Article 45 of the National Guard Law before April 30, 2021 commit an offense and in case of conviction, they are subject to imprisonment not exceeding one (1) year or to a fine not exceeding two thousand euros (€ 2000) or both (2) of these penalties as provided in paragraph (1) (f) of Article 68.
