On Saturday, November 28, 2020, following the cooperation of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt, the joint PASSEX exercise (Passing Exercise) of surface units of the Hellenic and Egyptian Navy took place in the wider sea area south of Karpathos.
This joint training contributed to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation of the participating units of the two countries.
