The Chief of the National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis, has travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) in view of the DSEI 2021 International Defence Exhibition to be held in London on September 14-17.
During his visit, the Chief of Staff met with the Chief of the UK General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders. The main focus of their meeting, as stated by the Chief of the National Guard, is the mutually beneficial military cooperation.
During his visit, the Chief also took part in a roundtable discussion at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), which focused on defence and security issues in the Eastern Mediterranean.
