Cyprus | Kasoulidis meets with Ambassadors of Greece – France

Meetings with the Ambassador of Greece, Ioannis Papameletiou, and the Ambassador of France, Salina Grenet Catalano, were held by the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Kasoulidis. 

A post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter states that Mr. Kasoulidis had a cordial ceremonial meeting with the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus, on the occasion of assuming his duties and stressed the continuation of good cooperation, coordination, and consultation between Nicosia and Athens.

In a post on Twitter, the French Ambassador to Nicosia thanked Mr. Kasoulidis for welcoming her the day after he took office. He added that they discussed the challenges of the French Presidency of the EU for a more sovereign Europe, Mr. Kasoulides’s trip to France for the informal Foreign Ministers Council, the Cyprus issue as well as the impetus to be given to the relations between France and Cyprus.

In a Twitter post, US Ambassador Judith Garber congratulated Kasoulides on his appointment as Foreign Minister and said he looked forward to meeting with him soon and working with him to expand the strong bilateral cooperation between the USA and the Republic of Cyprus.
