The official first assembly of the parliamentary Committee on Defence took place after months of delay regarding its convening due to the unjustified insistence of Marinos Sizopoulos against the participation of the President of ELAM, Christos Christou.
Following the unanimous and second-in-a-row decision of the Selection Committee, in which no issue is raised and each Member is entitled to participate in any committee who wishes, the meeting was held normally, examining the issues on the agenda.
Finally, the meetings of the Defence Committee have begun, as there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed, with the National Popular Front (ELAM) represented by its President, Christos Christou.
