Defence Minister, Charalambos Petridis, met today with the President of the Armenian National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, in Nicosia, where they discussed defence issues of mutual interest.
It is recalled that last April, the Minister of Defence paid a visit to Yerevan while the National Guard signed a bilateral defence cooperation agreement with Armenia in early October. Furthermore, a tripartite defence cooperation program was also signed between Greece and Cyprus in early September.
