Cabinet | Coronavirus test for the new recruits of 2020 Class
The proposal of the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Ioannou, to carry out 1,000 sampling inspections of newly recruited conscripts, who will join the National Guard in the coming days, was approved by the cabinet.
The 1,000 sample laboratory tests will be carried out on a Pancyprian basis and priority will be given to those who have not undergone laboratory testing under the Ministry of Education’s program that tested 20,000 students and school staff.
The Ministry of Defence will coordinate the proposal (distribution of national guards per province), in consultation with the laboratories that will participate in the process.
