A crash of a KT-1 training aircraft of the Turkish Air Force occurred a few hours ago, in the sea area off Fokaia/Smyrna, according to the Turkish news agency Anadolu.

According to the agency, the two pilots aboard were rescued. The accident took place a day after the crash of the Turkish NF-5 aircraft in the area of Ikonio.
The Turkish Air Force is investigating the causes of the new accident.
