BAE Systems has signed a framework agreement with the Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) of the Danish Ministry to provide repair and maintenance services for the Danish Army’s CV 90 Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) for a period of 15 years.
Under the said agreement, worth about $400 million, BAE Systems will provide upgraded levels of functionality for the infantry fighting vehicles. In particular, the agreement covers repair and maintenance services for the Danish Army’s fleet of 44 CV 90s, such as the delivery of spare parts at a time when the service’s operating rate remains at a high level.

This important agreement will ensure the functionality of the Danish Army’s CV90 fleet and ensure that they remain at a high level of capability and pace for many years, said Tommy Gustafsson-Rask, CEO of BAE Systems Hägglunds, the company that designs and manufactures the CV90.
The CV 90 infantry fighting vehicle provides globally combat-proven capabilities and commands the 20-38 tonne class, while it integrates a wide range of weapon systems, providing capabilities against a wide range of targets to land forces around the world.
With a total of 1,700 vehicles in 17 different variants, ready-made or custom-made, the CV 90 has traveled more than eight million kilometers to date. Ten European states, seven of which are NATO members, have chosen the vehicle, which has been used in combat in Liberia, Afghanistan, and Ukraine.
