The first reactions to the downing of the Armenian Su-25 fighter jet came from the Turkish presidency’s communications spokesman, Fahrettin Altun, who denied his country’s involvement and Armenia’s allegations.

The news that has been circulating on social media for the last hour states that an Armenian SU-25 fighter jet was shot down this morning by a Turkish F-16 fighter in the airspace of Armenia, according to the country’s Ministry of Defence.
The same information states that the pilot of the Armenian fighter jet that was hit by a Turkish fighter is dead.
At the same time, the Turkish fighter jet allegedly departed from the Ghana base in Azerbaijan.
The fact is also refuted by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan:
