The major national joint exercise “PARMENION 21” is still being conducted across Greece. The Chief of the General Staff of National Defence (GEETHA), General Konstantinos Floros, made statements at the end of the exercise “NIGHT LIGHTNING 21” which took place in the area of Evros in the context of the “PARMENION” exercise. The photos taken during the night exercise are really impressive.
Among other things, the Chief of GEETHA stated that the mechanized infantry, tanks, artillery, special forces and attack helicopters along with the fighter jets of the Hellenic Air Force cooperated in full harmony in this high-level night exercise, in order to overthrow enemy positions and gain tactical advantage. The message of deterrence we have sent to those who plot against peace, security and stability in the region is strong and clear!
