The Turkish research vessel Barbaros, which left the Cyprus EEZ, is sailing north of Cyprus and heading west. According to information, the vessel is sailing in international waters without conducting investigations.
So far, there is no new Turkish NAVTEX to commit a new area for research, either from this ship or from another. The illegal NAVTEX off Turkey issued on September 18 and expiring on October 18 has not been renewed so far.
